Derek Howard is a seasoned Business Development Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), where he leads initiatives that drive innovation, inclusion, and digital transformation. Based in Cary, North Carolina, Derek currently serves as the Program Manager for the HPE Digital Health Foundry Program, a strategic initiative aimed at accelerating health tech startups through access to cutting-edge technology, AI enablement, and industry partnerships.

Derek also champions diversity in tech as a key architect behind the HPE Diversity Startup Program, which offers complimentary HPE GreenLake cloud services to women-owned and minority-owned startups. Under his leadership, the program supported its first digital health innovator, Joyuus, a company focused on improving postpartum care. With a passion for impactful partnerships and a track record of delivering results, Derek continues to build bridges between cutting-edge technology and underserved communities in healthcare and beyond.
