Chris Martinez is an Investor, Product Manager and Marketer. He is currently the lead for BK-XL, an early-stage startup accelerator that’s backed by Brooklyn Nets owners Joe & Clara Tsai. BK-XL is focused on investing in underrepresented founders and based in Brooklyn, NY. Chris previously worked as a Vice President and investor at Blue Pool Capital. He also worked as an early employee at Wealthfront and Daffy, two VC-backed Silicon Valley fintech startups. Before that, he was a TMT investment banker at Goldman Sachs and a technology investor at Apax Partners, both in New York City. Chris holds a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he studied Finance and Economics.
