Shuhan He, MD is a dual faculty member in the Department of Emergency Medicine and Lab of Computer Science at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He is the Program Director for the MGHIHP’s HealthCare Data Analytics program as well as research staff Division of Trauma, Emergency Surgery, Surgical Critical Care at MGH. He was the author of the anatomic heart and lung emoji which are available now on mobile devices worldwide. He was the co-founder of GetUsPPE, a nationally recognized nonprofit that distributed 18 million pieces of PPE during the COVID-19 pandemic. He founded ConductScience.com, a supplier to over 2400 laboratories worldwide in novel scientific technologies while in medical school. His work has been featured in Fast Company, Nature, The Verge, Time, Forbes to name a few. He was named one of Emergency Medicine’s 25 under 45, Modern HealthCare Top 25 Emerging Leaders.
InnoFest Role & Support
In addition to his advisory role where he has helped shape this inaugural initiative and help guide each team, Dr. Shuhan He has created a potent academic opportunity for all InnoFest applicants. Through ConductScience—the open-access journal he founded—Dr. He is curating a special AMSA InnoFest issue, offering students the chance to publish abstracts, position papers, or perspectives on their digital health innovations.
Dr. He has also invited all finalists and honorees to be showcased at the upcoming Healthier Innovation Conference, hosted by the Mass General Institute of Health Professions on June 7—providing another platform to elevate their work.
