Diana Huang, M.D., M.A.

Dr. Diana Huang is a family physician who practices outpatient primary care for all ages in Seattle, Washington, with special areas of focus in women’s health, obesity medicine, and care for those who identify as transgender and gender diverse. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Bioengineering and the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University with a Doctor of Medicine and Master of Arts in Urban Bioethics. She completed her training as chief resident at Swedish Family Medicine – First Hill in 2020 and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine in 2023.

Many of her passions in medicine developed through her experiences with AMSA as a local chapter and later a national student leader and Vice President for Program Development. She benefited from many AMSA Institutes and led and participated in Scholars Programs and leadership trainings made possible through the AMSA Foundation. These experiences were formative in her development as a physician leader who sees medicine as a tool for health equity and social justice. For all these reasons and more, she has been a regular donor to AMSA Foundation since completing her training and is honored to continue to give back through work on the Foundation Board.

In addition to direct patient care, she serves on the Board of the Washington Academy of Family Physicians, is clinical faculty at the University of Washington School of Medicine, and serves on the Medical Advisory Board for Self Magazine.
